Clearwater Health Staffing

Credentialed clinical hires across three facilities — without breaking coverage for a day.

Overview

Clinical Roles, Zero Coverage Gaps

Clearwater Health was expanding outpatient services while carrying vacancies in med-surg and clinic operations. Every open role meant heavier loads for the nurses who stayed — so speed and credential accuracy both mattered.

The Challenge

Credentials First, Always

Healthcare hiring leaves no room for shortcuts: licenses, certifications, and background checks must verify before day one. The search had to move fast without ever compromising compliance.

Our Approach

A Pipeline Built for Compliance

Credential Pre-Checks

License and certification verification started at first contact, not at offer stage.

Unit-Level Matching

Candidates were matched to specific units and shift cultures, not just job titles.

Staggered Start Dates

Starts were sequenced so preceptors could onboard each nurse properly.

Outcome

All three facilities returned to full coverage with verified, unit-matched staff, and nurse managers reported smoother onboarding than prior hiring rounds. Clearwater now routes hard-to-fill openings to Copperleaf first.
